Project Overview
With every project at the Robert & Frances Fullerton Museum of Art, the project needs to be able to span multiple mediums to reach the biggest audience possible. With every design I created, I needed to keep this in mind.
My Process
Most of my design work at the museum involved working on grids, that I made. After creating a grid to fit all of the content neatly onto the page, I can move forward with design elements and maintaining the theme that the museum wanted to convey with that particular event. With their "Conversations on Art" series, they often wanted bright, bold colors to draw students' attention as they walk past. These events were a big hit.
This project's design was based on a theme that had been established before I began working at the museum. The Conversations on Art series was known to use bold, neon-esque colors and imagery of the artist(s) that the presentation focused on. This project is one of my favorites simply because of the journey it took to complete it.

With this particular design, I was able to use InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The simple fact that I got the opportunity to work in all three of my favorite work spaces makes this a memorable project for me.

Resizing from an 24 in. by 36 in. sandwich board all the way down to a 1000 pixel by 1000 pixel Instagram post proved to be a considerable challenge, but I managed to maintain the essence of the design while simultaneously getting all of the important information across.
