Beer Packaging Design

Branding & Package Design
Project Overview
With this branding redesign & packaging project, I tried to represent the Anderson Valley Brewing Company in a lighthearted, yet contemporary, way. I pulled from an Earth based color pallette, in an attempt to call to their focus on the environment. Below, you will see my solution.
The Process
Before beginning this project, I researched the Anderson Valley Brewing Company in an attempt to get a sense of where the brand came from. I wanted to stay true to the original brand, while giving it a "face lift". I looked at the themes that had gotten the brand to where they were currently, and used those to inform my design.
The concept behind the logo that I created for this project comes from the previously established brand for the company. They use a mascot that is a mix between a bear and a deer, aptly named the "Beer". I wanted to ensure that the mascot was used in the new branding, as it just gave the brand so much character.

I used an Earthy color palette to represent their work involving the environment and renewable energy, as most of their brewery runs on solar energy and all of their "waste" is donated to local farms as fertilizer and animal feed.

I picked fun, but structured, typefaces to use for the rest of the branding. I wanted their beer to be represented in their usual, unique way, but I also wanted to elevate the brand to new levels.
