Project Overview
Devin approached me to create art to represent his company "Hawkeye Images". He runs a real estate photography company that has a strong focus on the customer experience, and he wanted to ensure that the brand represented the modern, cutting-edge techniques that he uses to document the homes.
My Process
Before beginning on the collateral for Devin, I met with him to see what he wanted to accomplish with the branding. He put a lot of emphasis on modernization, as well as customer ease of use. After the meeting, I did research on other photographers to see what they were providing their clients with.
With the Hawkeye Images branding, I put a ton of work on creating a modern, sleek feel for it. Devin uses drones, advanced lighting techniques, full frame cameras, and many more cutting-edge technologies. This had to be communicated with every piece of collateral that he gives
to his clients.

The blue gradient that I implemented to the branding conveys a sense of luxury. Psychologically, blue represents loyalty, stability, and confidence. These are exactly the feelings that I want to use to represent a company that could make or break a sale for the realtor and homeowner.

With the logo, I wanted to create something that could represent the brand on its own, without the wordmark / accompanying text. The sleek feathers around the eye create a sense of movement, and the negative space used enforces the concept of luxury and modern-ness.
